In this ABC news interview in 1974, prolific author Arthur C. Clarke describes how computer technology will evolve, and essentially predicts the Internet.

Do bare in mind that this amazing “prediction” was not formed on thin air! The forefather of Internet was ARPANET and was already being debated & implemented from the mid 60s.

So not necessarily a fully fledged prediction by Mr. Clarke rather than excellent knowledge of cutting edge – by 1974’s standards – technologies & excellent skills in extrapolating where they could lead us.

Still an interesting flashback to the early days of a technology that would reshape global economy & living styles a few decades later!
